Product Description : The SkyCaddie Temporary Cart-Mount lets you attach your SkyCaddie onto a golf cart for use during a round of golf. The temporary, adjustable clamp holds the SkyCaddie in perfect position for viewing, easy access and optimal accuracy. I bought this mount NEW a year or two ago. Since I don't have my own golf cart, I attached and detached it each time that I rented a golf cart to play a round of golf. After approximately 30 uses, the bottom "lip" of the screw-in & out knob broke off. To my knowledge it cannot be fixed. It's important to note that whenever I attached the temporary mount to a golf cart, I only tightened it enough to hold the mount in place. I did NOT screw it on as tight as I could. If I had, then it would make perfect sense that the lip might experience a stress failure. I don't know how common this problem is with this particular mount, but I mention my experience for the consideration of those who are considering buying it. Just used it for the first time and I can't wait for the next. It's much better than keeping the skycaddie in your pocket. It attaches to both the walking cart and the motor cart - always know where it is and never worry about losing it. Great product and cheapest online. I ordered this product a few days ago and am returning it tomorrow. Let me first say I owned a similar product for my SG5 and it worked like a charm. This product has a weird way it attaches to the SkyCaddie and will causes scratches and mars to the case whenever the unit is removed and installed in the holder. It DOES hold the unit securely but if keeping your unit in like new condition is your goal in my opinion this is not the unit for you.
Makes it very easy to mount your SGX Sky Caddie on any golf cart. Arrived quickly and simple to install.
